Copperhead-18 Squadt by Kenny Wong x FERG (Dec 21-drop)
I’ve always preferred Alan Moore’s V for Vendetta over his Watchmen, similar to how Revolver takes precedence over Sgt Pepper for me. I was quite excited when this figure was announced, but passed on it when it was launched as it was going for quite a fair bit. I eventually picked it up though, and once in hand, it proved to be a nice tribute to the man they call ‘V’.

Very tempting. I have Please Please Me, A Hard Days’s Night, With the Beatles, Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt Pepper, Magical Mystery Tour, The White Album, Abbey Road, Let It Be and Past Masters in the earlier format, and I’m no audiophile. But the way music is distributed these days casts an aura of old skool cool on this CD box set

I am a child of the generation who sent our parents scrambling in search of the original toys that caused a shortage at Christmas time: remember the Cabbage Patch Kid ? Parents would do anything, short of auctioning off the child that the doll was for, to get their hands on a Xavier Roberts creation. To this day, I remember that my doll’s name was Jobie Minna (ok, I was just learning to read and could have messed up a couple of letters in the name, but the point is that she was so special I still remember what I thought her name was).
